Terms and Conditions

General

If you are interested in our accessories please order online, or click here for your nearest stockist. Please note that not all stockists will carry our full range.

Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. Measurements given are approximate and given in centimetres. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance the settings of your monitor, software, or printer.

Please note that our Pottery is handmade and hand painted and therefore, colour and surface differences are an important part of the nature of the product and not faults.

Payment

- Accessories:

Our accessories can now be purchased on-line with a credit-card via PayPal. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with us. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for the transaction.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to love your Swedish Chic purchase but if you are not entirely satisfied please notify us within 7 days and return the product within 14 days in its original packaging and in perfect condition and we will give you a refund or a replacement. Please put in writing the reason for return and whether you want replacement or a refund. Please note that any breakages or shortages must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of order. Postage and packaging costs are not refundable. Please ensure that returns are packaged and labelled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit.

We are not responsible for any returned items that do not reach us. We would recommend using recorded delivery to avoid any items being lost in transit. Please ask at the post office for a free certificate of postage. Please note that we do not give refunds on items returned after 28 days, damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellations

Cancellation notice: under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any item or service, apart from items personalised for you. You may cancel your order by sending us a letter, fax or e-mail cancellation at any time up to and including the seventh day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) after the day on which you receive your purchase. To contact us for this purpose please call 020 8548 1814. If you exercise your statutory rights to cancel you must immediately return the unwanted items following the packaging instructions in the "Returns and Refunds" section (above).

Delivery/Postage terms and charges

We aim to deliver your order within 14 days within the UK. In the event that an item is out of stock we will advise you accordingly and provide an estimated delivery date. Delivery within the UK is charged at £4.95. For orders over £75 we offer free delivery within the UK. For overseas destinations (incl. Eire and the Channel Islands) please contact us via email.

All our lighting products are made to order and the estimated delivery time is 4 to 6 weeks upon receipt of payment. If you are unsure that your order will arrive in time for a certain date please check before ordering. Our chandeliers can be delivered anywhere. Delivery is included for addresses in England , Wales , Southern Mainland Scotland and Northern Ireland .

All prices are subject to change without notice. Please note that all prices on this website are quoted in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
